Lyrics
Rain falls down heavy
Mountains hold the sky
Truckers lost in storms
Trying to find shelter high.
Winds howl, trees sway
Bridges…….washed away
Night turns dark no glow
Drivers hope feeling low.
Stormy roads, and driving
Calls to people back home.
Together we keep striving
Through floods feeling alone
Never been through something like this,
In all the years and places I roam.
Florida, Georgia,
Carolina’s Tennessee.
Washed away roads, bridges ,
Entire communities.
All the rain, nothing to hold it
Back from flooding the land.
Chainsaws and trucks,
Neighbors with a helping hand.
Mother nature's warning
Power lost and gone
Praying through the mourning
Hold each other strong
Pray for all the truckers
Lost within the storm
Pray for all the others
May their hearts stay warm
Stormy roads, and driving
Calls to people back home.
Together we keep striving
Through floods feeling alone
Never been through something like this,
In all the years and places I roam.
Gonna be a long while,
To clear all the debris in a pile.
Roads and homes can be replaced,
But the memories can not be erased.
We look up to god and pray,
To return us to normal some day.
Pray for the survivors and those families who have lost loved ones.
For the rescue teams, the people on the ground helping , and those donating funds.
We together will stay strong and rebuild
Our towns, businesses, and community
That our memories will always hold on to this day, We will again pray in unity.
Stormy roads, and driving
Calls to people back home.
Together we keep striving
Through floods feeling alone
Never been through something like this,
In all the years and places I roam.
All those effected by the Hurricane
In the Mountains. My prayers are with you.
