Lyrics

(Outro)
Trucking thru Kentucky,
The rain starts from clouds of gray!
Got my big rig a-roarin’,
You know me, as I’m on my way.
The big ol raindrops are a-tappin’
HeadLights on my windshields bright,
I’m a trucker, my darling,
and I’ll drive through the rainy night.
(Chorus)
Rollin these big ol wheels,.
Eastbound right out of Paducah!!
I’m trucking through the rain,
From Kentucky, to Chattanooga!
As the rain falls on my big hood,
and the headlights cast a glow!
I’ll keep my wheels movin,
down this wet winding road
(Verse 2)
The radio is softly playing,
a lonesome country tune,
As I pass the darken pine trees,
under a peek a boo moon.
The tires splash the puddles,
Thru the roads that are so dark,
Every mile a memory comes,
every thought a new one to start.
(Chorus)
Rollin these big ol wheels,.
Eastbound right out of Paducah!!
I’m trucking through the rain,
From Kentucky, to Chattanooga!
As the rain falls on my big hood,
and the headlights cast a glow!
I’ll keep my wheels movin,
down this wet winding road
(Bridge)
The rain’s a blessing tonight,
washing dirt n grime away,
Leaving me to my thoughts,
on this long lonely highway.
I’m chasing the horizon,
where the dark meets the dawn,
With every drop that falls, ,
Fighting back an endless yawn!
I think about you in my arms,
Wrapped up like a delicate vine!
I’ll keep on driving thru,
till I reach that Chattanooga line.
(Chorus)
Rollin these big ol wheels,.
Eastbound right out of Paducah!!
I’m trucking through the rain,
From Kentucky, to Chattanooga!
As the rain falls on my big hood,
and the headlights cast a glow!
I’ll keep my wheels movin,
down this wet winding road
(Outro)
Finishing up the journey,
as the night wears on!
With the storm behind me,
I’ll sing a truckers love song!
When the skies clear up,
and the stars shine bright!
I’ll be in Chattanooga,
by the southern moon light!
Yeah!
I’ll be in Chattanooga..
by the southern moon light.
Yeah!
You Know I need you,
My baby in….
