Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Push in the clutch..
Hand on the gearshift!
Heading out on,
another night shift,
Trucking on along..
every turn and bend!
Us drivers chasing the sun,
While ridin the wind!
Hands on the wheel,
Face with a grin!
Nothin or ALL-IN!!
[Chorus]
What has happened,
to the truckin man's heart!
Full of Bullshit……..
as our industry is fallin apart!
As I'm driving down the interstate 35,
Drivin through wishes…
of a different life
No way I’m going to accept..
how trucking has changed!
Most of us feeling…..outraged
We still enjoying the drive….
Truckin down interstate… 35!
[Verse 2]
Truckin with a smile, mile after mile,
Keep our eyes open for a while!
Thru dark country, and city lights
Just a piece of a puzzle,
known as life,
Runnin our miles, many days and nights!
[Chorus]
What has happened,
to the truckin man's heart!
Full of Bullshit……..
as our industry is fallin apart!
As I'm driving down the interstate 35,
Drivin through wishes…
of a different life
No way I’m going to accept..
how trucking has changed!
Most of us feeling…..outraged
We still enjoying the drive….
Truckin down interstate… 35!
[Verse 3]
Through Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri,
I’m rolling with thoughts,
on my mind!
Kansas, Oklahoma and then Texas!
Peace behind the wheel,
I know I’ll find!
As I’m reminded why I drive,
Truckin down Interstate…35!
[Chorus]
What has happened,
to the truckin man's heart!
Full of Bullshit……..
as our industry is fallin apart!
As I'm driving down the interstate 35,
Drivin through wishes…
of a different life
No way I’m going to accept..
how trucking has changed!
Most of us feeling…..outraged
We still enjoying the drive….
Truckin down interstate… 35!
[Outro]
As I’m truckin’ down,
truckin’ down 35,
Always enjoyin’ the ride,
feelin’ so alive.
While Truckin down ol Interstate… 35…..
(Truckin’ down interstate 35)
